The Tithe Barn, Ditcham appears and disappears from maps over the centuries and the origin of the present building is shrouded in mystery. The Barn was originally of cruciate form and it has now been restored and returned to this condition.
The interior is a delight! It is unusually grand with six huge stone arches, half hammer beams and a flagstone floor. The old grain bins have been opened into a balcony with the kitchen area below and cloakroom facilities in the adjoining stables.
